Is O gonna bring in another passing-game guru this next season?

Ensminger was calling the plays, so I'm assuming he soaked up how to call, scheme, and implement the offense that Burrow ran and the new formations that Brady introduced. Is there a need for another Brady-esque guy to come in?

Well, we really just need an efficient guy back there. We don't need an all-timer to be competitive every year, especially with the receiving core we'll have next year.

Munoz is probably gonna get promoted and we need a legit receiver coach.

If Ensminger was as important to this offense as Brady was, then he would have been the one getting multiple job offers.

But I can't stress enough, and at the risk of repeating myself and others: HAVE to have the right WR coaching. Yes, QB and PGC... but without the right WR coaching it doesn't work like it should.
In a utopian world, the 'passing game guru' is also a WR coach. Not necessarily a QB coach.

I tend to agree with OP. Coach E isn’t dumb. I’m sure he picked up the schemes.

Of course E is not dumb. Him and Brady were feeding off one another and taught each other a thing or two - an alliance made in heaving for Tiger Nation.

Not necessarily true. Looking at the film from end of last year (A&M and UCF), it's easy to see that Brady implemented a few new wrinkles and the time in the off-season allowed Burrow to master this offense. It was definitely a mutually beneficial relationship between Steve and Brady.

Yes but it would be nice. It was so comforting now worrying about throwing the football. Down and distance just didn’t matter this year, you knew we were probably going to get the first no matter the circumstances. Hell I can remember like yesterday holding my breath any time we threw a pass and those passes were almost always sideline bombs. LSU fans suffered far too long with QBs throwing the ball and God completely evened the score with Burrow.

Jorge Munoz 2017 bio from the Ragin Cajun website:
Jorge Munoz begins his 10th year as an assistant coach at Louisiana, moving back to receivers coach - a position he held from 2011-15 - after serving as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Ragin’ Cajuns in 2016.
Munoz’ work with the Cajuns wide receivers from 2011-15 was exemplary. Despite not having the team’s top receiver - Jamal Robinson - in the lineup for much of the 2014 season due to injury, four players stepped up and caught 30 or more passes each. Running back Elijah McGuire (45 receptions) was the team’s top receiver on the season with James Butler (38), Al Riles (34) and Gabe Fuselier (30) contributing to the Ragin’ Cajuns offense.
With Robinson back in the lineup for the 2015 season, four Cajuns caught 30 or more passes on the season, with Robinson grabbing 54 passes and earning first-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors. Riles (46), Fuselier (37) and McGuire (34) each ecliipsed the 30-catch plateau for Louisiana with promising freshman Gary Haynes grabbing 25 passes in his first season.
In 2013, Robinson earned second-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors after finishing seventh in the league in receptions (54), fifth in receiving yards per game (66.3) while his eight TD receptions were tied for fifth-most in a single season in school history.
Javone Lawson (134 catches, 2,107 yards, 15 TDs) and Harry Peoples (122-1,514-6) concluded their careers in 2012 as only the third set of receivers in school history to each have 100 receptions in a career.
In 2011, Munoz played an integral role in the Cajuns throwing for over 3,500 yards. Lawson (63 catches, 1,092 yards) posted one of the top seasons by a Louisiana receiver while Peoples and Darryl Surgent also emerged as steady targets for Blaine Gautier.
From 2008-10, Munoz served as the Ragin’ Cajuns pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, installing a “Play Station” attack that shattered school records for total offense (5,390 yards) and touchdowns (54) in 2008.
He helped former Cajuns QB (and current receivers coach) Michael Desormeaux record the second-most yards of total offense in school history and as a result, Desormeaux was named the 2008 Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
Prior to joining the Louisiana staff, Munoz spent three seasons at Eastern Illinois (2005-07), starting as receivers coach in 2005, co-offensive coordinator in 2006 and offensive coordinator in 2007. During his time with EIU, the Panthers were ranked in the top-25 each season in the Division I FCS rankings and advanced to the FCS Playoffs.
Before that he coached at Charleston Southern (2004-05), Anderson College (2001-02) Southeast Missouri (1999-00) and his alma mater, Bethany College (1998)
A 1998 graduate, Munoz was a two-time All-American quarterback at Bethany. He played one year in the Arena Football League with the Albany Firebirds. Munoz was a multi-sport standout at San Diego Hilltop High.

To me there was something incredibly effective about having two people up there with one guy focused on passing. It was a unique arrangement, and with the right people and the right chemistry, I'd say it's hard to beat.

No, he didn't. He implemented some bunch formations, 2x2 spread, and split line RPOs... not too much to comprehend for Steve.

Now that we have Brady's Saint's offense that he and Ensminger both together converted to work for college football and also his wide receiver corps coaching techniques, why do we need another Joe Brady? Not to mention that there are no more Joe Brady's around in any event.

Besides Munoz being a former passing game coordinator, QB coach, and OC, why do we need to hire another receiver coach?
