When you lose 3 players to the draft and have Stingley Jr (a once in a decade type player) coming in you are not in rebuilding mode. Rebuilding mode is returning 3 players. If Dave Aranda can't field a very good defense with 8 returning starters then that is not good.

Did you ever watch Hershel Walker? There are no Hershel Walkers on our roster.

Did you see the two of three recruiting services who rated John Emery as the #1 RB in the nation? The same services who rated the other LSU signee Davis as the #8 RB in the nation?

Both of these guys will be playing for LSU in the fall. It sucks for you, but there aint a damn thing you can do about it. You need to suck it up and find another team fast.

Needs to be tightened up but that's what fall practice is for. It's definitely going to look different than what we have seen.

Hype happens every spring and a month before the regular season. It's not usually as great as they make it out to be.

I remember Jordan Jefferson Hype out of manning academy.

I will just wait n see.
With all due respect, the Manning Academy news was just hype. We saw with our own eyes the improvement in Brennan yesterday. I have no worries about 2020 with him running the show, and think he can be ready this year if needed.

I was excited to see seam routes thrown to the slot receivers.

That said, there is talent but experience is going to be a big issue here.

Grant Delpit, Kelvin Joseph, Kary Vincent, Kristian Fulton, Eric Monroe, JaCoby Stevens, Todd Harris.

Not even mentioning the new players who were 5 or 4 star players, which one of the above does not have experience?

I must be missing something.

the defense will be better this year. Phillips can be as good as Devin White. Chaisson returns. Delpit is the best safety in the nation. Fulton/Stingley are a dynamic corner duo. DL is a veteran group primed to go.

The defense was getting pressure rushing just 4 all day, and were missing their best pass rusher. Pass blocking is still a huge problem. RBs looked solid, CEH will be the leading rusher this year. Oline can still run block fine, which is a plus. WRs were good. Hopefully they've taken the next step.

At least twice the defense got off the field, but Orgeron let the offense keep the ball. One of these drives ended with a touchdown and the offense still only scored 31 points.

You people seriously need to pump the brakes.

Will be interesting to see how they distribute carries between CEH, the freshmen coming in, Fournette, and Curry. Ton of depth.

I loved seeing saints route trees. Should really help recruiting to have an nfl offense.

Trips right, one receiver left all running vertical seems making the safeties pick their poison and just hit the open man. Loved it. Or if they’re somehow able to cover that with zone, check down to the back or TE who will have no coverage. Can’t defend it.

This may have been my favorite part of the spring game even though my favorite play was the underneath shallow cross to Anderson. I've been begging to see us use that play for a long, long time. That's how you get athletes in space and we've been hearing that since Coach O took over. We may actually get it on 2019.
