Is LSU fighting behind the scenes to get their coach back on the sidelines?

I mean that’s what they ought to be doing right? Pulling all nighters and sch?

More like trying to get rid of him.

it feels like they are done with Wade

No, they're fighting to get rid of him for cause.

No they are preparing a contract for Benford. They love his leadership.

Who is "LSU" in this instance?
It certainly isn't our dumbass AD or president that's fighting on his behalf.

Alleva and co are trying to be tough guys like they thought they were being tough guys by telling Fisher and Herman to kick rocks.

You would think that they’d want to keep him at all costs after the job he’s done in just 2 years. But we have an administration full of morons, so I doubt it.

I think Alleva, Alexander and BOS are taking some heat from big donors on it, but it doesn't seem to phase them as they are more using Delly and the Advocate to attack Wade constantly. If this draws out until April, they will take shots at him once a week through their puppets.

I mean they did it with Les Miles and Ed O.

No......They are hoping and praying benford can take this team all the way. Which of course they know is highly unlikely

It sounds like, even if the FBI or NCAA can't find enough evidence against Wade, LSU plans to fire him anyway for breach of contract. Since he made his public statement, they have been using their media puppets to hammer him relentlessly, trying to convince the fans that he's guilty of something they can't prove.

They should be working to get him back but they seem to want to fire him for cause to save money.
I think they will try to negotiate a buyout of Wade’s contract so both can move on.

LSU's current thinktank gonna run WW and his future titles off to another school..
Like Bertman's ego did with Nick Saban and Pat Henry.

They heard "wiretap" and "reported" and jumped the gun to suspend him.
Rather than reinstate him as they should have (well, they never should have suspended him but the first rule of holes is to stop digging), their egos got in the way and they doubled down on stupid.
They'd rather be perceived as justified and fire him than admit they were wrong.
Problem is, they lack grounds to fire him, and are trying to get around paying him any more.
Yeah, I've seen the contract, but it's more nuanced than some would have you believe since the judge classified all evidence in the case and Wade meeting with the NCAA could land him in jail for contempt of court.
So here we are. They're propagating misinformation to assassinate Wade's character in hopes of swaying alumni and fans.
Don't fall for their bullshite.
Behind the scenes, there is a coordinated effort to oust Alleva and Alexander.
If they're fired before Wade is we may just get to keep him after all.
Just as a disclaimer, Wade is not a focal point of the party pushing for new leadership at LSU. The embarrassing headlines over the course of years coupled with neither Alleva nor Alexander having the resume to justify their hirings in the first place is the focus.
As LSU fans, we just have to just hope and pray that Wade somehow makes it to May.
Regardless, I would be absolutely stunned if Alleva is allowed to hire a 4th MBB coach in 10 years.

They're in full-fledged CYA mode now. Their sole focus is salvaging their own jobs and reputations. It's a futile effort, but remember who we're dealing with.

Joe is probably at the links drinking a rye.

I hope so because for one thing - a huge one thing - I don't feel we can make a run without Coach Wade. But I'm not sure if F**k King Alexander, Alleva, and The Board even give a sh*t.
