I'm no football expert, but man Jay Ward looked better than just good last night. Am I wrong in thinking he could be as good as Jamal Adams?

Yeah, I think he’s got a chance to be a early round nfl guy if he keeps playing like he has. Hope that knee tweak was nothing late in the game.

I don't know if he's as good as Adams but he was all over the field last night. Probably the defensive MVP so far.

He was lights out after their first series, maybe felt like he was to blame for that first TD, or something… But whatever, he lit it up after that that, like turned up another gear…

Slow down turbo. Jay Ward is a damn good safety and will play on Sundays next year but Jamal Adams was on another level. I think he can be close if he continues to improve though. He looks better and better each game. He’s a warrior too. I remember him coming back too early to play with a torn meniscus as a true freshman because we didn’t have enough corners, that was before he was moved to safety.

Aside from Adams, Ward is playing as well as any LSU safety in my memory. He does not have Adams quickness, imo, but he is still very quick. Adams moves like a cat.

He’s built more like Delpit.

He plays way bigger than his size! Very physical tackler. Love it!

Seems to bring the lumber and is aggressive but under control. Really impressed with him so far this year. Love to see him go as a top 3 round pick.

He’s been all over the field all season. He flys to the ball and is almost always around the tackle.
