"Pass and Run blocking nonexistent for the last six years against Bama" Do you follow LSU closely because Coach O addressed that directly at the end season. That's why the players went through a different summer work outs than they've been through the last ten years. This is the biggest, and strongest team and still just as fast Moffit has produced in a long time, and he has said so himself.

About your first question- Yes D-line is still good and strong Is Canada's Offense confusing- It seems that way after this last scrimmage and that is great to see and hear since we want to do that to our opponents. So a good sign if we can do this to our Aranda coached D!!

Making progress since Spring game Monsters on D-line and LB- Whats going on? Nothing is going on. They are facing an offensive mastermind freak, who will make them look bad on occasions. But if you look at the stats, plenty of sacks, TFL, hurries, etc... we are fine.

The defense is usually ahead of the offense in early scrimmages, and LSU's defense definitely is not a question mark this year. I just couldn't help trolling a few Tiger friends.

Actually, it was 1's vs 1's, 2's vs 2's, if reports on TD were accurate. How do you feel now?

Our Dline stats from the scrimmage were really good. That's a lot of tackles from the DL. I did notice he didn't give any stats on LBs.

Astute observation. The LSU defense will come around before the season begins, that group tends to always carry its weight, it's the LSU offense that's been MIA at some critical times. Not so in this practice.

Some of what he does is for confusion for sure. But it's also to get a read on what type of defense they are playing.

OP was a bit of a melt, but then I realized this was against Aranda's defense, the grin on my face appeared when I realized the SEC and Saban will soon get a sample of this same offense.

Idk what you got from the practice statistics but I got that LSU is about to give BYU some real issues. GT

Just wait until the first 3 and out in the BYU game, it's going to be fun to read the posts of panic in the game thread.

I really don't think so brah. Canada is going to put a premium on starting strong so I think we will see more first drive TDs/scores then we have in a long time. Will be refreshing too. So we will likely be up by a TD or 10 points before we even see a 3 and out in the first few games anyway.

You have to love people dissecting something they didn't even see.

I think Canada will too but I also think a three and out can happen very easily early in the first game due to nerves, dumb penalties, etc. I'm just saying the overreaction will be good comedy if it does happen.

Not exactly, I questioned whether there was a reason to whine or not.

I questioned is this Canada's style offense that's going to give every defense real problems or not, or is it our defense. I asked for everyone's opinions, and I got it.

No one knows, I watched the spring and the defense definitely wasn't confused then. :)

Had to figure out the offense's huge success in the running game against Aranada's defense in this scrimmage, thought LSU's o-line was all banged up, so this was surprising.
