Huepel? I think Kelly should win it going away, but who knows.

If not, the award is meaningless.

from 39 scholarship players to SEC west champ is impossible.

Jim Mora at UConn having them bowl eligible with a winning record is pretty unbelievable.

Josh Huepel is probably a lock for coach of the year and deservingly so. The vols were 7-6 last year and his turn around has been incredible.

I think that Hillbilly at Tennessee will win but Kelly has done the most with the Least and guess who is going to the SEC championship and who isn't?

Uh, did you see what we were last year?

And we're in the SECCG, while Josh is not.

He has certainly made a good case for coach of the year. If they win out, then I would say it's a given. Right now he's in the hunt.

True but he did beat the crap out of us. We were 6-7 last year, they were 7-6.

So I can see him getting it but the fact that this is Kelly's first year makes his performance better IMO

Yep, another good option...and the only other coach I'd be okay with winning.

We were 6-7 and at the VERY bottom of the SEC West. OUR turnaround has been incredible!

This. He won’t win, but they were predicted to win maybe 2 games this season and he has them bowl eligible and beating a team like Liberty. That’s an insane job with a program that doesn’t have a ton of talent.
