nah, I doubt his NFL team will let him return kicks, too much injury risk

Absolutely. He'll always been welcome on the sideline of his former team.

I know he won't be back, and him leaving concerns me the most mainly because I don't know what we're going to have at that position next season. Unless we recruit a stud for the '18 class, going to be very pedestrian.

Tough to pass up being drafted in the first round your junior year as RB. Young RB's are killing it in the NFL right now. He will be a yards from monster in the league.

Once a Tiger...always a Tiger. I'm going to miss him in purple and gold though. Class act all the way.

Saw on the news last night that Guice was projected as the # 17 pick overall in the next year’s draft so I guess no, he’s not coming back. Who will be making the payments on his mom’s car ?

it's doubtful, but he hasn't been full speed this year either.

I guess it depends on his priorities- if he came back healthy, he's instantly a Heisman candidate again (we saw the 200+ yd game once he got healthy vs Ole Miss), the team gets a boost of maybe 5 spots at least in preseason polls, and he might improve his stock some. And he might truly think the team can make a legit run at a title next season; you only get that once. Who knows, Fournette might have told him to enjoy college while he can, that the pros will be there when the time comes.

Not necessarily.

It really depends on a lot of his personal makeup... he might be the ultra-competitive type who feels like there's unfinished business in college. If he came back 100% healthy, he has a legit chance to win the Heisman, and skyrocket up the career standings at LSU and the SEC. He'd be good for probably 200 yds against Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M, and possibly every OOC game, and maybe others too.
Former teammates such as Fournette might be telling him that the NFL experience is different, especially if you go to a team like Jacksonville, and it would be waiting for him after next year too.

We've been conditioned here to expect anyone with playing time to leave ASAP, but there are plenty of guys who stay around.

As for being a guaranteed 1st rd pick, you just don't know for sure. Nobody batted an eye when Kamara fell to the 3rd, although everyone thought he was great value there. In retrospect he should have been a 1st, based on production.

I expect he will leave, but it wouldn't shock me if he came back either.

It’s a different world now. Individual awards and statistical accomplishments are not readily monetized. The human body has limited mileage on it before performance is affected.

If he’s projected to be a first rounder, he needs to go.

Wouldn’t #LSU19 be his graduation class? He came in 2015.
