knowing the opponent? Who we play honestly dictates how many tickets I'll need for certain bowls because of who will be interested in going or not. Like if we get paired up with a G5 school I would be far less likely to travel for a bowl game but if we were to be matched up with WVU (my brother and life long best friend's alma mater) I would probably need to order like 20 tickets for everyone that would want to go.

ETA: Sorry for cutting off the thread title. Ran out of space.

Sorry it's your first year as a season ticket holder. This is not new news.

Then don’t request any and buy on the open market when the game is announced. Boom problem solved.

second year baw. I was just a student before and didn't pay attention because I couldn't go to bowl games until this season.

It's all about the money. That's all that matters to any institution at bottom.

Damn. I feel kinda bad about yelling at that girl at the ticket office now. Well not really. They've added way too many fees this year to makeup for slower ticket sales

It may not be LSU's fault. Some bowls require the participating schools to commit to selling a certain number of tickets. It's not a problem for a desirable bowl game, but it sucks when there's a chance that we could end up in a crappy bowl. LSU hasn't sold out their bowl ticket allotment since playing in the Texas Bowl in 2015. I'd love to see us travel in full force. I think we would do just that if we got a bid to either the Sugar or the Fiesta bowls. I hope we'd travel well to Atlanta too if we draw a Peach Bowl invite.

I’d love to play UCF, blow them out and end their “National Champs” narrative.

I haven't heard LSU wanting me to commit to anything bowl-related.

What fees did they add this year to season tickets?

I'm not mad at all. I just won't buy tickets until I know who the opponent is..... or where we play.

In my experience, you will never have trouble getting bowl tickets after the bowls are announced.

Usually better tickets to be had at better pricing.

Not to season tickets. To individual tickets. I had to buy some extras from certain games. ~$100 tickets now had $30 worth of fees as opposed to closer to $10 like they had been the last few years.

The demand for bowl tickets from LSU fans has not been very high in recent years. Unless it's the Sugar Bowl, you'll have plenty of time to buy them once the opponent is announced. Many LSU fans buy from other sources because the tickets alloted to the participating teams are not usually the best in terms of location.
