Internal coup at LSU? re: Alleva and F King/recent LSU scandals

LSU seems to have been in the news often lately regarding one scandal after another. Just recently, there was the human resources director being caught fricking people over for jobs, then there was the one with the human resources and the LSUPD conspiring together to give the impression that the search for a new chief of police was national when it wasn't. Just in the last few days I'm hearing of a new scandal regarding something to do with a shady business deal (not sure of the specifics, though).
Is it possible that someone in the know about these things is trying to force enough pressure on the BoS to try and go after F King and have him ousted?
I was going to post this last week but didn't since I was positive I'd get downvoted into oblivion. But with the brand new rumors of Alleva's job being in jeopardy, I'm very suspicious of an internal coup, so to speak, now. It's just mighty suspicious that it's all happening at the same time.
Is it possible that someone is leaking all the info on these scandals in an attempt to put pressure on F King, knowing that Alleva's job may very well be in jeopardy?
Just me sort of wondering out loud. Is this a reach?

you are right, sure has been a shite storm of bad press. I wouldn't be surprised by anything at this point.

Can't find the article atm, but Google F. King Alexander and Oxford Round Table and there are a few articles about it.
Dude is scum and a cancer to the university.
ETA: Louisiana Voice article
My understanding is that he tried to capitalize on the name Oxford (Oxford University) despite having no connection to them at all.
That said, LSU's PR department has been pretty bad in recent years - especially regarding athletics.

Is a national search to run campus police really necessary?

Remember the recent article about the HR bigwig at LSU whose emails got leaked? IIRC they explicitly said that the news of a "national search" was a farce to make the search process look good. LSU is pretty indicative of the shady politics of Louisiana in general. What a mess.
Clearly leadership at LSU has a problem conducting searches (real or otherwise)

LSU will be much better off when F.King, Alleva, and Gov. Edwards all have their hands off the university. Hopefully it’s sooner than later.

1000% this. I don't keep up with politics (state or national) much - but it seems like all Vitter had to do to was NOT get caught with prostitutes in diapers. If not for that we wouldn't have to deal with JBE's stupid arse.

JBE has helped LSU. in his short time in office. It is the Jindal appointments, including FKA, that have screwed LSU. Best hope is JBE makes some strong BOS appointments in June.

It's Luziana. Good Ole Boy politics reign supreme.
The only shot is for as many LSU Alums/Fans as possible to contact him and let their feelings and opinions be known. Don't just sit idly by and do nothing.........

Like it or not, its still a state school, highly dependant on state funding.
The F. King, Alleva, Orgeron triad comes to us as a gift of the Jindal administration, whose appointees still control the BOS until June, 2018.
The BEST thing that could happen is for Gov. Edwards to make some appointments that require big changes in leadership at LSU. I hope the new BOS cans all three of them.

The time is ripe to clean house.

While this doesn't align with my personal political
views on JBE overall as the tax and spend Democrat that he is, it is a pretty honest assessment as far as LSU is concerned. Jindal's appointments are still fricking things up.

Yeah I got carried away.. I just don't like JBE in general. But it's too early for him to be blamed for incompetence at LSU.
And I'm in 5th grade. I get on TD with my school iPad. Don't tell my teacher

I think it would be pointless to remove Alleva if you are going to keep F King there.
