The process to hire two quality, new coordinators is going to be very interesting to follow. With LSU cleaning house with most of the coaching staff, attracting two good coordinators is not going to be cheap! The new coordinators know that another bad season and O could be given his walking papers, which likely means they will also be out of a job. All that adds up to a huge buyout for the coordinators to even attract them to the job and provide some type of security should they be canned.

Can you say BP 2.0? Mr. Woodward you screwed up one time, so Tiger Nation will be watching closely how this situation unfolds!

Do you seriously believe that? BP coached one year and walked away with 5.2 million - that kind of money attracts...

I had my suspicions, but I now really think you're just another alter account for DP and company.

What that said the coordinator should come in and do their job and everything would be fine

Wrong. 1 good year and our PGC gets an NFL OC job. Dont under estimate individual goal and aspirations. Even if its just a step for someone, the doors will come off the hinges for people to get in. Not the case at Auburn for multiple reasons.

Moscona’s take indicated that the university is not on the hook for these funds. There are big time TAF donors most likely in the loop on these decisions and they are presented a budget on what it would take to make these changes happen. Deal is you can’t keep going to that well too often. O is definitely on the clock to make these hires work this time. There will be no more do overs on one season busts.

As I posted earlier....An LSU site is reporting that LSU Football will have a budget between $29-33 million for new pieces of their 2021 coaching staff, BEFORE BUYOUTS. Don't know how credible they are. LINK

You're an idiot to think it won't cost LSU big money to land a pair of top-notch coordinators. If you were offered a job that you knew might change in a year, you would make sure you had certain things written into your contract to protect you and your family. In other words, you're going to want a guaranteed big buyout to move your family to a new place when the HC isn't on the most stable ground. It's clearly just above your understanding! Sit back and watch DA and learn something!

I detect some instability here, but I think it dwells with OP and not O.

Take all the names out of this and just look at what has just happened. It's a dumpster fire. No CF program makes all these changes without major problems at all levels of the football program. I think our AD should be commended for aggressively making the necessary changes needed at this time.

I think buyouts will have to be quite large considering if O is proven to have covered up rape(yeah I know folks are saying it’s looking better now than it did at first, but that isn’t gospel) or not. He could be gone as early as February.
