It's pretty damn rare nowadays for a coach to criticize another publicly. Spurrier is still good for a jab every so often, but even he has backed off.
I doubt Les gives a shite, but I think his players will have his back so to speak and play just that much harder.

They haven't criticized eachother, Patterson is the only one that's done any criticizing.

It might mean something if the article actually got the correct story. It didn't matter what Patterson wanted, that suspended player for TCU broke a university rule, so the higher ups suspended him. It was out of his hands from the beginning.

I am also not sure why he would think that his team isn't one of those that LSU won't easily beat.
The funniest thing about it all to me is that I'll bet that Hill doesn't see the field until after the game is wrapped up. The simple fact will prove to be that LSU does not need Hill to spank these guys in the least. There is no other stable of RBs in the nation quite like LSU's and we lost two guys who are wearing NFL jerseys this year.
What makes this guy think that he is on LSU's level anyway? I think that they have bit off way more than they will be able to chew.

That's TCU's hope of course.
Say what you want about Les Miles, but I'm fairly certain he enjoy's his status as one of the few remaining coaches in college football with integrity.
Patterson challenged that integrity and while Les may appear to have just blown it off, I doubt that's the entire truth.
