It’s not like well “yeah they missed a holding call but shite you shouldn’t have depended on the refs to bail you out “

Both examples the idiot cited were completely egregious calls that affected the outcome in which your players made the play to win/tie the game. Ideally would they have played a perfect game and not been in that position ? Sure.

Meauxjeaux is an idiot, there’s a difference between officiating errors and straight up negligence, both of his examples fall into the latter.

These people with these stupid takes of "well should have never been in this position" are so fricking lame.

It's a game where NO team is ever perfect. The logic here in these arguments is that if you don't play perfect for an entire game you don't deserve to win. So whatever impact the officials have is excused.

This logic requires perfection from the team but completely excuses any imperfections from the officials.

Why do these people not hold all parties to the same level of performance?

You leave opponents in games they should not be in and it is often a loss.

The Rams were good. The Saints couldn’t stop them from being there at the end. But the Saints were the better team and proved it by making the clutch play when it counted, BUT FOR the officials strangely deciding not to call the most blatant PI in history. No team ever plays perfect so by your logic no officiating can ever be criticized.
