This is the biggest problem. I don't care who is coaching when you're hitting it all comes down to you vs. the pitcher. LSU just isn't getting good hitters IMO.

They didn't hit last year and like I said at the beginning their is nothing to believe they are going to hit this year. If these starters can't hit then what makes you believe the guys on the bench can. They are there because our starters beat them out of a position. PM can't do everything he has got to have some help around him. Its a two man coaching staff with PM and Dunn.

Getting beat by 10 in a rubber game against a team like App State is not a good sign of things to come. Not to be chicken little but if we can't totally dismiss this level of competition with Arky, Vandy, SC and Florida on the schedule ... we're in trouble.

Baseball is a game of streaks. LSU vs. A does not equal LSU vs. B. Sure...it doesn't make you feel real good about it but it's all about getting hot. Most good baseball teams don't hit that stride until Late March/April.
