Im just curious do other schools fans bash their coaches like ours.

Its ridiculous!! Just know Paul O Wade has forgotten more then any1 that post on this page. Paul is very aggressive on the bases and sometimes it doesn't work. No rule when to hit and run! Some of our fans know what they are talking about but some have no clue. As a coach for over 20 years its just sad it really is Sad!! We have fans bashing Wade because he lets them play street ball. LOL is just Amazing. Not calling names but please stop bashing our coaches when they have not done anything wrong. Just to let people in on why he was calling hit and run the pitcher had a slow time to the plate.

His hit and runs when pitchers are struggling to throw strikes are rally killers. One worked tonight, woohoo.
Seems like a great time to let your leadoff batter steal second base. Then the batter can swing away at a good pitch and drive in the runner from second base.

Bama fans on the other boards were calling Saban washed up and saying the game passed him by in 2019. All fanbases have emotional fans that overreact. Try reading a game thread on the SEC Rant sometime. Spoiler alert: they all bitch about officiating too.

Do your research! Hit and run adds 7-10 on batter avg. When it works people don't say a word but he is bashed when it doesn't work. I know other fan bash coaches but its non stop on this page

I am a fan of the hit and run, and a lot of times it “doesn’t work” is bc a sharp like drive and a double play is turned etc.
but it does always seem like he calls it at the wrong time, it’s just purely coincidental

Every fanbase is unrealistic with their coaches to an extent.
LSU fans have the highest catastrophe syndrome in the country to me though.

Im pretty sure we mentioned when it worked last night. Its great that it adds 7-10 points to the batting average (if thats even true). But does it make us swing at pitches out of the zone that couldve led to walks? Does it prevent us from driving pitches that could lead to doubles or homeruns and turn it into groundballs? Its an obvious yes.
And no, statistically, according to sabermetrics, its not a good play to run.

Alabama and Auburn kill trees on each other's campus. It gets much worse than what you see from our fans. You just see it with our fans because it's your environment.

After we have a big win people on this board will link other team forums melting. The Florida win is a good example. In years past when we beat Auburn with Gus. It happens at every passionate fan base. LSU is no exception. Not saying it’s right or wrong. Just saying it is what it is.

If you listen to the Coaches, they understand the fans.
They would rather have the bitching, complaining, and fault finding, than apathy.

Yes. Since I graduated college I have lived in Arkansas, Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Colorado. I can’t honestly say the other fanbases hate their coaches and players too. LSU, Auburn, and Alabama are the most vocal. Colorado is the exception because they are too stoned to care.
