Because they are the worst with TV timeouts! In the first quarter against Florida last week, CBS broke to commercial 6 times in first 7:15min.

Because we are a depleted team in depth, it gives LSU a fighting chance to catch their collective breath!

How else could Lac play every down last week!

Has this team forgotten how to go down with a cramp when the other team is running a no huddle offense?

The first quarter on Saturday took an hour. That’s absolutely crazy.

Silver lining. Good job. I usually HATE CBS because of the length, but you might have a point here.

Me too. I have to work until 10pm Saturday so I'm glad I'll be able to catch the second half.

From an LSU standpoint this makes great sense.

From a fans standpoint, good luck not getting a heat stroke

I like Brad calling the game.

Gary not so much.

The CBS SEC game on Saturday and the American League playoff games run on similar 4-hour paces.

A CBS game is a non-stop commercial briefly paused for a football game.

only thing with tv timeouts is at the end of the game when we are trying to run out the clock. we had a run that stayed inbounds short of a first down and the clock stopped for a tv time out. could have made a huge difference in the outcome.

Watch the game alone

Pause the opening kickoff for around 10 to 15 minutes

Dilly dally around the house or fix something to eat

Voila, no commercials
