I'm excited for friday but more excited to hear Chris Blair

It will definitely be a little weird not hearing Jim on the radio but I'm really looking forward to listening to the new voice of the Tigers. Friday can't come soon enough.

Looking foward to it as well. LSU baseball is the only sport I've listened to on the radio and have been doing it for about 20 years. It will be weird and kinda sad but hope he does a good job.

Excited for this as well. I only get to listen to away games because I'm at all of the home games, but away baseball games with the game on the radio is when I'm most productive working in the yard

I think it'll be a rough start. I heard him on some random radio show on 1045 ESPN the other night. He know's facts about players like where they are from, but he won't have the personal touch right away. Will be great in the future though once he shakes the rust off.

I'm looking forward to it as well. From what I have seen with the videos he's done and calling into radio spots, I think he will be great. It's also interesting how much he is on Twitter, definitely a "new school" guy.
Side thought - he's getting a new partner in Doug Thompson. Any chance he might get new partners for football and basketball?

Should be, at least for weekend games. Unless they've changed it from last year, they'll just use the radio feed as the audio for midweek games, so those of us watching SECN+ will also get to hear Blair.
