I thought he'd never be a reliable downfield passer or a good SEC QB and I was wrong about that. Happy to be wrong about it.

I was about to post this. I will definitely eat crow about Daniels, the coaching staff, and will throw Boutte in there. I really was ready for him to just quit and let those that want to be out there take his place.

Literally everyone saw a struggling QB in the first games. No one thought he was reliable. Either there’s no crow to eat or everyone eats it.

While I doubt anyone saw this potential, there are still a shite ton of posters who want Nuss et al. to start…

I said after the FL game that if he lit up Ole Piss and Bama I'd eat a dumpster full. He's the man!

Curious when you gave up on him? Game 1?

IN

I was fully onboard the bench him train. I thought they should look to the future and get Howard some work.

I was wrong, and couldn’t be happier about it.

This too. Boutte is a bigger turnaround than Daniels to me.

bullshite

I saw him being literally our only playmaker on offense keeping us in games and winning them virtually by himself.

Did he miss a few throws or not always see an open WR? Sure, but he’d also been on campus for six months and had a patchwork OL hanging him out to dry on 90% of plays.

I didn’t see a struggling QB I saw a baller that was giving his all while his teammates and coaches struggled to get on the same page and staying positive when a lot of other QBs would have hung their heads or pointed fingers or just quit.

JD5 is a fricking legit Heisman candidate and that started when he led us back against FSU, not three weeks ago.

BS, just because everyone saw him struggle early on doesn't mean everyone wrote him off.

Only those wanting to write him off eat fricking crow!

I will definitely eat crow, but it looked REALLY bad earlier in the season. Some of the criticism was definitely warranted. But there were some who were making it personal about him.

JD has played hard, been a good teammate, and smiled (like he just won the powerball) since he got here.

If someone doesn’t like his attitude or doesn’t think he’s a good dude……. I really don’t know what to tell them.

I as well. He has improved tremendously. Props to him, the O-line, the defense and the coaching staff outside of ST which is still a weak sister...

I’m eating crow about Daniels and Boutte. I love this team and it’s been one hell of a ride this year. Genuinely impressed with these guys and how much they have all grown and bought in as a team.

This is absolutely false. Plenty of us recognized that he was a very good player and was essentially our entire offense in some games. He has been productive from game 1. He has protected the football from game 1. He has converted 3rd downs at a high clip from game 1. His completion percentage has been stellar all year.

I think "literally everyone" who saw a "struggling QB" were fooled by poor o-line play at times.

That pass in the back of the endzone was as ballsy of a pass as they come and it was a dime.
