WTF? He either knows he took money or knows he's completely clean. So if I'm told I'm sitting for the SEC championship game and I dindu nuffin, I'm fricking livid. As a school, what the hell to you tell Javonte? "Sorry baw, someone mentioned your name on a phone conversation and you can't play now we don't care what you say"?? The whole thing is fricking rediculous. How do you sit someone without PROOF?!? Especially in a game as big as this. If he's clean I feel so sorry for the kid.

How can they justify this based on the info they have? There is no proof that Wade is even talking about him. On top of that there's no proof he took any money. Does the university have the right to make him sit for no reason? As much as this kid talked about loving LSU and his home state, I'd be embarrassed if I were LSU.

This. If he's ineligible the season is vacated anyway, if hes not then you just sent the message you trust Yahoo over your own players.
I wonder if he can apply for a hardship and play elsewhere immediately next year. I'd think he has a pretty good case against the administration for discrimination.

Well fortunately it appears Smart has a great attitude about all this and is front and center cheering on his team mates and being a leader even though he can’t play tonight
