read the book “The Score Takes Care of Itself” by Steve Jamison. It was largely written with Bill Walsh but was finished by his son Steve about the legendary coach. Walsh was tremendously gifted at organizational skills and mastering all of the small details including how you dressed even as a janitor. He was all about quality in everything. He was all about discipline.
You’ll learn how the “West Coast Offense” and it’s motion was a busted play noticed by a defensive coach while he was in Cincinnati when the other coaches, including Walsh laughed. It is a great read.

It’s a great book. Read it multiple times. Belichick and Saban also stated how important Walsh was to their development.

Don’t say the word “win”. Do the little things right and that word will take care of itself.
