If you swap out "media Bama bias" with "media SEC bias"...

SEC is the best conference in college football. Had a couple down years in the last two decades, but still dominant when you compare the SEC to other conferences. Also, football is bigger in the South than other areas in the country. The media loves the SEC for those reasons.
