not as far as not going to the game, i just mean if you found out on tuesday/wednesday you'd be fired regardless after saturday would you even try anymore. no matter the outcome your arse is out. i feel sorry for the players in that situation. i mean we all knew it was coming but i really wish these reports wouldn't leak like they do.

Yes, let's not act like Sumlin isn't going to get a job at another program (at the minimum be an OC for a year or two).

If his recruiting would've been better, he could've kept his job.

Dude couldn't lock down Texas even while the Longhorns sucked, and now that they are on the rise again, they are gonna struggle even more. They knew they had to make a change.

If I were him, I would show up and try to put on a good coaching performance. It could either raise or lower his potential options after getting fired.

Fact is, it’s gonna be ugly before it’s pretty. I’m just watching games looking to enjoy our team

He should put a sign on his shirt saying something like 'Will Work For Food And A Few Million Dollars'...

Yes because:

1) My own personal integrity
2) Because my future employer is watching and
3) Screw my current employer, I’ll show them that they made a mistake.

TAMU isn't stupid enough to make a sequel to the b-list film we made in 2015.

You don't quit on players you recruited. This isn't just a typical job where you only committed to your boss/employer. You've made commitments to players and their families, be a man and honor that commitment.

I really hope we show up in this game. Will be a bad look for us if we choke it away.

in most of the losses, they have allowed 35-50 pts...
Chavis assists in getting another coach fired.

I would assume that if he did not show up for a game TAM would have cause to fire him and they may not have to pay his buy out.
