if you have 2 starting QBs, then you don't have any. So why did we need 4?

Just this last month USM has lost 2 QBs from last year, one transferred and one was suspended. They are now on a LaTech QB who quit before last season and went JuCo for a year.
So it can happen. And if the O-Line is as weak as some seem to think, it very well could happen early if you catch some bad luck.

If we stay healthy at the position we have 2 years of burrow followed up presumably by 2 years of Brennan. That's a much more comfortable position than we thought we would be in in the spring.
And we do have guys behind the 4 that were in competition. They're just not scholarship guys

You just need 3 QBs at the beginning of any season. I can't tell you why it isn't 4 or 5, but you have to have 3. If not and anything - at all - the flu, food poisoning, a broken finger ANYTHING happens then you're playing a game with 1 QB.

This is the problem with all qbs these days out of high school... media has hyped qb so much they’re all prima donnas... it’s no longer wait and learn, they think they will all make it in the nfl and the only way to get there is to play ASAP no matter what.

After SLINGER shows his offense to the world there will be 5stars and grad transfers lining up at the door. Just a technicality at this point
