In what way?

Do you realize that in Les's last full year, LSU was #5 in the country heading in the Bama game?

They say he’s trending up. He may be, I don’t know. Auburn was a good win.

But if he can’t win 10 regular season games next year, he’s no better than Les.

Why do you pinheads believe that it's somehow productive for you to bring this same topic up every hour on the hour? Praytell, what do you think this accomplishes, except proving that you are a whiny baby?

This is true, with the caveat that Orgeron posts a better record than Miles. Didn’t happen this year. If it doesn’t happen next year, that’s called them being RIGHT, not a baby.

Well, first of all he beat Saban earlier that year.

Second of all, he put that type of team together. Those are two things Orgeron would be insanely lucky to accomplish.

The fact that so many in our fanbase can't seem to grasp this is disheartening.

Yeah okay. Was told last yr to give O a pass because he just got the head coaching job even though he had been the recruiting coordinator and should have had great relationships with all the recruits we missed out on. Now it’s a yr later and we’re not even ranked in the Top 10 in recruiting and have no QB committed. Now I’m told recruiting is going great. But we’re coming!

Man, put down the crack pipe.

I loved CLM, but he was letting the program slowly slide toward mediocrity & too stubborn to change.

Thought he would have learned from the history of Cholly Mac.

May not have even reached 9-3 with Miles this year. Not so sure we would have beat Troy with Miles coaching. Miles did not play Alabama tougher. No one has played Bama tougher than LSU the last two years besides Auburn this year and Clemson in the two title games. He had a great run, but it was time for Miles era to come to an end.

it was time for new blood at LSU.
no one expected Alleva to make one of the most unqualified hires in big 6 history.

So only 1 loss worse than Mile's championship team. Pretty good for a first year head coach.

If not for a lucky wildcat break, O would have scored all of 3 points against Alabama I two years.

I didn't see anything lucky about that play. LSU just used some creativity. Bama was focused on stopping the jet sweep that LSU was very successful with against teams this year and it was a fake jet sweep to Gage. Bama wasn't expecting Williams to take off with it. LSU still had to score from the 2 after that run (something that is never a given against Bama these days) and Willaims scored two plays later.
