..our DL will be crushing people in 2015 and allowing our LBs to make great plays all season.

A healthy Quentin Thomas, perhaps?

I think Neal will surprise people with the more experience he gets. D-end or Tackle.

At this point we need to find DEs more than DTs. Godchaux/Valentine/LaCouture is a good enough starter-minutes group at DT, we just need some guys to be quality depth from there.

I think Bain is the fourth guy in that rotation for now.

I'm more worried about DE than DT.

Herron needs to move back to DE.

Bain, Gilmore, Trey L. can hold down the DT position with the big 3

QT will surprise a lot of fans next year. A bicep is pretty important for a DT. 100% and he will have the season he was supposed to have this year.

subtract LaCouture. He should be nothing bu quality depth relief. Bain would be # 3 in my book, as I do agree that Valentine and Godchaux will be AWESOME as an interior tandem.

Bain must've really impressed you on those fifteen snaps or so that he played.

Always wondered if Lacouture really was our best option. Not sure if he has it in him to be an explosive DT like we're use to. I know there was a lot of youth at DT this season but I'm curious to see if someone else takes over one of the two DT spots over Lacouture next season.

I actually agree. He would be better as a DE.

Lacouture will be a all sec type of player around his sr. Year. He's a true sophomore who will get better each snap he takes. I don't see what you guys are talking about. He's already a solid defensive tackle.

I just feel like if Valentine is what they say he is, he'll beat out LaCouture before he beats out Godchaux. Add in the fact that we might get the brute Jonathan Taylor from JUCO, and we could have a beast of a rotation. I think Bain would be 5th or 6th though unless he showed something over Thomas and Lac.

That would allow us to push Herron to DE though, so he could support Bower on the other end.

The legend of Valentine continues! I suppose being ineligible and not playing a snap makes you better than being eligible, young and playing a limited role while you learn technique.

I agree. I don't have a clue why people say what they say about him. Well... yea, I do. It's too bad but he is NOT the Welter of the D-line.

He has been solid as a rock and got better as the year went on. Truly underappreciated player.
