No, they don’t. You are comparing a horrible offense and mediocre at best defense with UF to a legit O and D for Auburn. I think keeping it close is going to be LSU’s likely goal.

Florida is terrible. I think they're on the level of Arkansas.
Auburn will be the second best team we play all year. I'll be happy if we're even somewhat competitive.

How many players does Auburn have missing this game?
I'm not sure exactly, but it's not near what Florida was missing. Besides the injuries to Florida, don't forget, they had basically 10 players suspended pending felony charges. (Can't remember exact number)

I guess all of you think we should just give up, right? Did we lose to Troy or did I miss something??? The first thing that has to happen is that our guys have to come ready to fight

Knee jerk reaction is that we will get destroyed, but crazier things have happened I suppose.
Get a couple good hits on Stidham early on make him nervous back there. He hasn't seen anything like Tiger Stadium yet.
It wasn't too long ago when we beat them up pretty good in DV and they went on to play for the national championship.

I agree but we have to play much better to beat AU. We squeaked by this one and I am thankful but let's not dismiss the bad O and for the most part D. The historic D is not what it was and that has protected the deficient O. Pump the brakes.

lsu has to find a way to put pressure on Stidham. If they do, he becomes a meh qb in the league. If LSU puts no pressure and will have to play zone which stidham will throw underneath the zone all afternoon. LSU will have to play much better than they did yesterday. Me? I just want LSU to continue to play hard and don't quit and improve each week. I took a major issue with LSU quitting in two games this year. They didn't give up yesterday, finished strong and beating Florida is always awesome regardless. The crowd will be into the game let's hope being it's freaking auburn.

Auburn hasn’t beaten LSU since 1999 in tiger stadium. Hope they keep that streak alive.
