Wrong, question.
If was no leak(whoever it was), then there is no article... THEN Jimbo is the coach.
Without the article there wouldn't have been the speculation and media storm that the admin couldn't respond to.

I actually think the problem was Sexton would never make a commitment--in the car business, if you don't have a commitment from the customer, you have nothing.
LSU: "Our offer is six million per year."
JS: "We want seven."
LSU: "Okay, if we do seven right now, will you commit to Jimbo Fisher signing the contract and being our coach?"
JS: "No, we still want to think about it and have some other factors we're concerned about."
If that's the way it fell, LSU is not at fault, even had all the other shite with King/BOS/Jindal/media not been a factor.

Sexton had no say if Fisher really wanted to come. Fisher had his bags packed ready to go. Sexton negotiated a deal and it was ready to be signed. LSU's administration pussyfooted around and fricked it all up

actually jimbo asked for the same salary that he was making at Florida state around 5 million per year and for lsu to match.
