Everybody loved Trent and Johnny because they knew they could beat them most of the time.
Will Wade is already starting to be disliked by other fans and coaches, and I like it. That means he is good!

That's actually pretty true. Also, LSU fans like coaches that fight for their team and don't hold their tongue, so in that aspect, Wade is really a perfect fit down here.
Also, in regards to what the OP said, Kentucky fans hated Dale Brown's guts for many years because he beat UK more than was acceptable to them. People usually won't like a coach who can beat their team.
