I wouldn't go this far, but only the homers don't see that there are some deficiencies.

LSU’s daddy the last 7 years.
I’m not getting into a positive or negative o discussion, but Alabama has been doing nothing but winning for the last 7 plus years. That sticks in a kid’s mind. Bama, unfortunately is a national brand with the ability to handpick any kid they want across the country, with a couple exceptions. Just so happens that a lot of elite talent comes from Louisiana.
That’s why your comment is stupid

We definitely have problems at CB, RB, and QB.
This is uncharted waters for us at DB and RB. We’ve been spoiled there.
I’d agree with your statement, we have some holes at some spots, but are very solid in others including both lines

Because a transfer from New Orleans at a depleted position on the home schools team isn’t some coup.

When you have spectacular recruiting failures at a school heretofore known as DBU, it opens opportunities in teh secondary markets. These are markets frequented by schools which are not typically at the elite level.
Resort to transfers at LSU is evidence of a decline in the program, which would ideally recruit stars with 3-4 yrs of eligibility.

Funny we didn't have much trouble handling the Alabama brand when we had that other head coach some time back. Can't remember his name.

Look, I'm glad to have the guy, but he's not an elite transfer.
Second, no one ever said that Orgeron can't recruit, although that attribute has arguably been overstated to a degree.

I would think a defensive lineman who had started every game he played in at his former school would be more impressive. Not to mention a Biletnikoff Award candidate at wide recever or a TE that was the 123rd ranked player regardless of position that transferred to LSU last year.

There are not "glaring holes up and down the roster".
Even if there were why would a top transfer throw in with LSU if things were so damn bad as some of you dim bulbs say they are?
I am convinced that many posters on TD are kids.

Yep, need corner depth. Otherwise you made an ignorant statement.
