If Notre Dame is to remain in top four...move them down to #4.
Alabama vs Notre Dame
Clemson vs Oklahoma

I really want to see the OU Bama match up. I think it will be a great game.

I rather they make bama beat both Oklahoma and Clemson. I think bama would kill ND.

OU will have to score on every possession vs either Clemson or Alabama. Their defense isn’t stopping either one of those offenses. They’re flat out terrible.

Notre Dame takes the easy way out by not joining a conference. Send them through the gauntlet. Bama...we (LSU) just have to beat em if we want em out.

How do you move them down? They are undefeated.

ND gets to pick a pussy schedule because they are not in a conference! Shouldn't get to play with the big boys!

I don't necessarily disagree. They have been abysmal at times. But, they have a heisman candidate on offense who is a mobile QB and an achilles heel for Saban. They are used to playing great offenses in the Big 12 so a shootout is nothing new to them.

Not a Notre Dame fan, but their schedule was actually pretty tough this year. A few of the teams didn’t play up to their usual level.

Notre dame played teams traditionally expected to be top 15.

Southern cal
Stanford
Fsu
Va tech
Mich state
Mich

It's a nice schedule
But

Their opposition had bad years

So they deserve a bye for that?

Played 5 teams from the ACC.
2 from the B10.
2 from PAC-12.
1 from the SEC.
1 Independent and 1 from the MAC.

Alabama, meanwhile, played 8 from the SEC, 2 from the Sun Belt, 1 ACC, and 1 from the 1AA Southern Conference.

LSU also played 8 SEC, 2 CUSA, 1 ACC, and 1 1AA Southland Conference team. But sure, ND only schedules pussy teams.

I agree, which is why the commitee will pair them in the semifinals to protect their beloved Tide with a first round bye.

So, it's somehow Notre Dame's fault the teams they scheduled didn't play up to their pre-season expectations?

Notre Dames strength of schedule is 18 spots higher than Clemson’s. So maybe Clemson should be left out

They are a good team. The teams on their schedule are "normally " good, but not this year.
