If LSU wins the SECCG then they will be the only SEC school in the playoff. The rest of the country doesn't want to see a repeat game of SEC schools. And frankly, it's not fair to the SEC Champ.

I totally agree and hope its like that...but what i am saying is if they put another SEC team in and LSU is at 1 they will put said SEC Team at 4

Scenario 1 is the only way we don’t win title this year
Bama beats us in rematch

Any other scenario we are winning it all

If we’re #1, and the opponent is Clemson or Bama, we will choose Fiesta.

#1 gets their preference of sites between the 2 semi sites.

Any other opponent and we’re probably fine with Atlanta.

Bama is Playoff Toast. Watch 'em in a NY6.

If they loose to the Barn burners they will be playing in one of the Florida bowls. That would be glorious, I will be the biggest Aubbie fan ever come the Iron Bowl.

Clemson in round 1?

I'd rather Utah or Oregon.

I'm hoping they run into Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl again. They can just recycle the excuses from that game, "We just really didn't want to be there", "If we're not playing for the NC, we just don't care.", "It's hard to get motivated for a NY6 bowl." etc...

9. Pairings for Semifinals
The team ranked No. 1 by the selection committee will play team No. 4 in the semifinals. Team No. 2 will meet team No. 3.

When assigning teams to sites, the committee will place the top two seeds at the most advantageous sites, weighing criteria such as convenience of travel for its fans, home-crowd advantage or disadvantage and general familiarity with the host city and its stadium. Preference will go to the No. 1 seed.

It doesn't say they avoid conference rivals or rematches in the semi-finals.

I would love to see LSU beat Bama again and beat the Buckeyes in the final.
