We shouldnt leave the Sec or become independant. We should fight for change. Having the sec hq in birmingham and having a bunch of Bama grads working there is beyond ridiculous. We should have graduates with no ties to SEC schools only working in that office and putting the hq in raleigh north carolina wouldnt hurt either IMO. Same with officials.

NEVER gonna happen so why even bother thinking about it? But, OK, I'll play anyway: If LSU went independent the Athletic Department would lose money and be broke within a decade. Would seriously become on par with a Tulane, Southern Miss, or a MAC team in terms of football relevance.
