The UGA offense will run right through them.

I thought the needs along the lines were addressed this offseason?

UGA has one of the best offensive lines in the country. Our 5 man defensive line will struggle.

I read they had couple Oline and 3 Dlineman questionable earlier in week.

Just really depends on how long they are on the field. 5 is generally fine, cause Ed Alexander can go to nose & Fehoko then can spell someone at DE after his rest. Farrell has played well as a reserve, There are other times we play with only 2 DL at all.

The interior was pretty good vs FL. They gashed us outside with the run. DL also got a few pressures.

after the performance against one of the worst offenses in the league last week I fully expect us to give up 350+ this week rushing

And everyone said we could rely on this defense to win games

One recruiting cycle can fix that problem, right?

Are you sure you aren't thinking of UGA...who in fact does have 3 DL out for the game?

LINK

The only LSU DL out is Shelvin. Of course, he's barely played anyway so it's not as if that's an impactful loss

Orgeron has rebuilt both lines this off season with added depth

Shelvin and I guess he’s counting Chaisson, but he’s actually a LB.

Lawerence
Fehoko
Alexander
Farrell
Moore
Logan

Livingston?

Switch to a 4-3 Alignment with Fehoko and Alexander at DT and Moore and Lawerence at DE.

Less double teams along the line.

because the linemen were able to get downfield and take out lb's

I think everyone assumed Ed would step up as the starter at NT and that fehoko would be the other end.

Fehoko having to play nt hurts the rotation. It's probably as much about shelvin being unmotivated and not reliable as the reserve NT as anything else.

No not really. Go watch those option plays again. There were no defenders around to be even be blocked

On important short yardage plays the DL freed the LBs & they couldn’t make plays
