If Les gets the KU job, don’t be surprised to see Freeze & Pellini as Coordinators

Orgeron needs to hire Freeze or Briles if he wants to avoid becoming Les 2.0. Ensminger is more suitable for Les.

Pelini I can see. Freeze is waiting for SE to announce his retirement so he can take the LSU job.

Les won't hire Freeze. He's not going to risk any type of violations with someone like that when he just gave up 5 million from LSU and could possibly be fired with cause if Freeze fricks something up. I'm not sure Pellini has any any interest in being a coordinator. If he did he would have went back to it right when he was fired from Nebraska. He seems to want to be a head coach and took a lot less money to do that at Youngstown than he could have made as a DC.

Both Freeze and Pellini would be great coordinators and need a second chance. Les and Long might just be willing to go for broke to build a winner. I realize either are long shots. Don’t forget, Saban is second / third chance U with Kiffen and Sark.

I was recently reading up on Ed, and he is doing the exact same thing offensively here, that he tried to do at Ole Miss. He also fired his first offensive coordinator after his one and only year there.

For a guy who had "learned his lesson", he's actually repeating the same mistakes. Aranda is keeping this team afloat. If Ed doesn't hire a guy on the level of Briles, Freeze, or Yurcich, he's going to find himself on the hottest hotseat after next year.

Yeah 8 and 2 with a #5 recruiting class is exactly like ole miss. You should see by now that O is committed to winning. I hate to see Steve go out like this and I kind of thought that they would give him a chance to right the ship but it looks like he'll either step down or retire.

Without Aranda, Ed O would be gone by the end of this season

While I agree with most of what you said, I just dont see him being on the hot seat as long as the win loss record stays close to what it is. This administration is not worried about championships SEC or National for that matter. As long as Aranda is here we will stay in most games, once Aranda moves on then O will be toast. I don't think he has it in him to hire elite coordinators given his recent hires and promotions.

Bo is NOT going back to work under LEs again especially at KU when Bo was WINNING and SUCESSFUL HC at Nebraska( 9 and 10 wins every year) and now he is at youngstown. he is like 27-21 there(youngstown).

Do you remember what Bo said about les off the record? or jimbo about les or searels about les?

A person that I strongly suspect is connected to the team said that O was talking to someone. [I also think that O is prepared to wait if this deal doesn't come to fruition]

The bracketed part is my opinion. As of right now this is what I believe to be true.

Les always surrounded himself with talent.
That was his best strength.

I wouldn't be surprised if he brought them in, but I would be surprised if he let them do what they want to do on offense.

I just don’t think Pellini wants to be a coordinator anymore.
