Except wade is not being investigated by the fbi. He is a witness for the defendant. If he admits to doing it then he is part of what the defendant may go to jail for.

We don’t even know all the facts yet. The recorded phone call appears to be bad, but it’s nothing conclusive. He didn’t meet with his superiors because his lawyer advised him not to. The people in charge suspended him as a result. We can argue whether or not he should have been suspended, but we don’t know what really happened yet.
