If Hess returns and moves back to the bullpen, who is the closer Hess or Peterson? If it is Hess, Peterson wold be a great set- up man.

A 2 headed 95+mph monster to end games is something LSU hasn’t had in a while.......

Peterson would be a great long relief guy and could close when needed.

If Walker and Labas get back healthy, then all we need is for some of the younger guys to get a little more consistent in the pen.

Hilliard, Walker, Labas as weekend starters.

Peterson middle relief. Hess shutting the door.

I'd feel pretty good about that.

Hess and Peterson would be unreal to close out games. I think before the draft, many of our guys were expecting to play for someone’s farm system. Now, I bet they’re all snapping each other about coming back and doing something special.

strong back-end of the bullpen

nothing wrong with a dominant set-up guy and closer

I’d have to assume Hess will surely be back.

I think Peterson should close and Hess could move to the stopper role and be the first out of the pen.

Just a heads up Marceaux will be pitching Saturday or on Sundays.

I think Storz may take your Friday spot with marceaux on saturdays and walker on Sundays. Although I'm told be Adam that Marceaux is a legit Friday guy so I'm excited to see what happens

Let them both close on weekends.
Also let them get starts every other week during midweek games to get extended innings and lengthen their stamina.
Would be great to have 5 very competitive starters at the end of next year going into post season.
Lots and lots of options if Hess comes back

This is most likely. We would basically have 2 closers. Both have closer stuff and mentality. I’m not sure it matters what order.

I’d bet a ton of money that Hess will still be the Friday guy day 1 next year. Whether I want him to be or not.
