LSU is more of a rebuild then people think. If you need evidence ask yourself how many redshirt freshman and true freshmen played this year.

But the O-haters won't admit this.....new faces and new coaches and we're supposed to contend right out of the gate.

its truly amazing how our offense looking lost on critical plays, all the sudden isnt on the head coach.
we were coming out of a timeout.

He fumbled in the redzone and missed a chip shot field goal too!

And then when he tried to push a guy out of bounds, he took it 90+ yards to the house.

Dammit O!!!

using this logic no loss is ever on the coach. the coach isnt out there losing their one on one battle and ruining plays.

Both share major portions of the blame for the loss on 1/9/12.

Jefferson played a horrible game on the biggest stage of the college football season. But as Skip Bertman would say, "it's not your fault, it's my fault for recruiting you because you aren't good enough to play for us." He just didn't have the skills to be a SEC QB.

Miles is primarily responsible b/c the offensive game plan was horrible and did not change from that scintillating offensive display in November where we scored out 9th point in overtime. Bama came out with a totally different game plan and dominated and we continued with our same ole ineffective toss lead.

Would one of those loses to Troy ?

Considering the fact that a 10 & 2 Troy team caught LSU at way less than full-strength with a ton of key players out for the game on both offense and defense and when Arden Key was a mere shell of his former self, then I'm not surprised we lost that game because Troy is a damn good football team. Not to mention, that Troy is a damn strong football team this season that probably could have beaten a lot of SEC football teams at full strength.

Thus, the Troy loss is not nearly as embarrassing as you Negatiger coach O haters try to make it seem like it is. When you put everything into perspective, all it does is demonstrate how so severely mentally handicapped you Negatiger coach O haters actually are, and I must say that I love it. I love the fact that you morons are all filled with rage, anger, and misery at the coach hire because it brings me great joy and pleasure. Indeed, I hope coach O is here for 15 or 20 years, because the more miserable he makes you loons, the more joy and pleasure it brings me.

In fact, the Troy game loss was a Godsend for you Negatiger coach O haters, because you mega haters hope LSU loses every game so Coach O can get fired and so you loons can say, you see we told you so. Nonetheless, I love every time LSU wins because it makes you loons so damn miserable and the more miserable the more pleasure it brings me. So I will be cheering for LSU to beat Notre Dame in the upcoming Citrus Bowl, while you haters will be cheering for Notre Dame in misery. I love it! Life is beautiful.

Troy was a pretty good team but they would have struggled mightily in the SEC. They don't have the jimmy and joes to compete week in and out the SEC. LSU or any other team in the SEC should really never lose to Troy. It was a terrible loss, no other way to spin it but it woke the team up.

I say hell yeah!

If either one of these turds had showed up in BR and lead this same team to 9-3, many of you would have said "ahhhhhhh.....good start! Something to build on with all the new changes and such."

But because O was a bad hire...it counts for nothing.

Care to defend you position on this matter?

#downvoteaway

When you guys start threads like this your're intentionally disingenuous. You know good damn well it's not just the 9-3 record. If 9-3 included switching the outcomes of Auburn and Troy along with a Win vs Bama, no one would have a problem.........We Comin

On the previous page you were bashing because of the Troy loss. But when it's Jimbo losing by 43 points to a team LSU beat that very season it is just ebbs and flows, so everything is okay?
Jimbo's got a history of big success, which buys him some slack. Not so with O.

But I'll give O credit for turning this team around after Troy, when I thought we were in a death spiral.
