Etling not a game manager. Offense is too limited with his skill set

You mean you saw enough to be hopeful, right? You aren't remotely concerned about getting manhandled by Troy? Blow out loss to powerhouse msu?

Not a late game comeback a LOSS

Right?

People act like Troy was the Turning point but we looked bad VS Florida too.

The turning point was the second quarter of the Auburn Game.

I agree. I would have been more optimistic with Herman (not so much Jimbo) going 9-3. It would be an excellent first year considering he was installing almost completely new coaching staffs. In fact, I doubt he would have done better than 8-4.

Orgeron was hired for continuity. He was supposed to hit the ground running, so I would expect a better first year record.

Considering the depth and absentees on the defensive line, I understand the terrible start. In my view the jury is still out.

1. It’s a thread saying no one would care if Jimbo or Herman went 9-3, and it’s fricking stupid to say that if they lose to Troy.

2. The poster I was Reaponding to was ripping Miles for BEATING Troy in some weird defense of Troy.

3. I actually Think O looks like he does nothing in all games

4. Troy is one of 4 teams that we played with a winning record and we went 1-3 vs those teams including Troy

I don’t care who the coach was this year, a loss to fricking Troy is unacceptable. Early blow out to Moo U would have been acceptable for any of the coaches IMO.

Except that number is hugely effected by coming 3-5 this year which career wise is a statistical outlier

All we needed was a game manager at QB with our defense and our running game according to 90 percent of this board before the season. The narrative changed

How did our defense and run game do vs Miss St and Troy? Our D actually played better vs Bama then they did vs Troy.

Losing to Troy and a mediocre at best Miss St. team

you are wrong as hell about MSU. they were a pretty damn good team; bama barely beat them and only because state choked late in the fourth qtr. at home, MSU was a damn good team.

One reason is some yahoo in this thread implied that a 10-2 Troy team loss was a good loss to a good team.

They were a good football team

MSU has certainly had many better teams and LSU has had way way way worse teams.

However never in over 100 years has MSU kicked the ever living shite out of LSU like they did this year.

LSU is more of a rebuild then people think. If you need evidence ask yourself how many redshirt freshman and true freshmen played this year.

You're going to use that game as an example of Miles clock management blunders?

You're a special kind of stupid.

The loss was horrible...what else is there to say?

No one is defending the loss other than I pointed out that Troy wasn't a shite sandwich.

Weird shite happens sometimes. Cuse beat Clemson....should that have happened?

How in the ever-living fk is any loss a good loss? I didn't say that nor imply it.
