LSU could finish 3-9 and they'd still say he needs 3 more years to turn it around.

Then when he finally has all of his players on the roster they'll blame the coordinators.

The only way I'll forgive O at this point is if he runs the table

If O beats the Gators, will all the LSU bandwagon and fair weather fans return?

Hell no! You have to beat more than the gators for atonement for being embarrassed by Moo state and TROY.

2 colossal losses require 2 colossal wins.

Auburn AND Bama.

Based on the talent alone LSU should stomped the Trojan last weekend but O couldn't do it so it ain't happen in the Swamp.

Not only do they have to beat Auburn and Bama, O has to finish better than Les’ average. They have to go 9-3 at worst.

I sat through Curly, i'm not fair-weather.
Didn't mean I supported him, I just still rooted for the team, and had my heart broken over and over.

But no, it will take a lot, a LOT more than 1 win over a decent team, to win me over on this hire. I tried to give him a chance. You get a pass for one real stinker even, something Miles never got.

You could lose to Miss St since it was the 1st conference game on the road.
You could struggle mightily to beat a really bad Syracuse team.
You could even overlook an underrated Troy.

Any of those would leave me very shaken in my hopes, but would only be 1 game.

You don't get all 3. Nope, nuh uh, no way. O, your arse has got to go, you're killing my Tigers.

This really does remind me of Curly, and the part I hated the most about those years. I remember leading up to an Auburn game, and the talk was a nervous, hopeful chance at an upset, if we could muster our best effort. That's kind of what I hear going into the Florida game this year.

That's not what LSU is supposed to be. Beating Florida or Auburn shouldn't be a huge upset. Those games should never be worse than a tossup, not for LSU.

I can't believe it's Florida week and I'm the least bit excited.

No, they will say our team, consisting of five straight consensus top-10 recruiting classes, has no talent, and that Florida will be be in the playoffs with Troy and Mississippi State.

A guy who is 0-13 on the road in the SEC as a HC isn't getting his first road win in the swamp. Florida is a safe bet to cover.
