Teams will have a hard time passing against us. Stingley and Rick's would be the best db combo out there. And they will only be a frosh and soph

Should be setup very well for the future, I hope people dont hold Ricks to the same standard they hold Stingley though. Ricks is definitely elite, but I think he may need a year here before really hitting it prime time and calling himself a shut down corner. Stingley was (is) just a true freak of nature with his size, speed, athletcism, tehcnique, etc... lucky for us Ricks will also be enrolling early like Stingley did. So that will help him out massively in getting on the field early.

Yes. In 2 years, Stingley’s final year and Ricks’s 2nd. That will be insane

Ricks going to picked on year 1, hopefully Ward or Flott can allow him some ease in process. But yeah, opposite Stigs will be trial by fire, and will make or break a corner. I don’t see anyone making a living throwing Stigs way, so better suit up if you are on the opposite side

Don’t forget about the other freshmen this year. At least 1 if not all of them will be legit. DBU will be just fine...GEAUX TIGERS!!!

True, but he's more than that. He's been taught and spoonfed football IQ since he was a lad. He was a film room rat at Dunham.

Vincent should start next year with Ricks playing a lot, imo

I'm not sure Vincent should ever start for us outside of special packages.

He looked bad against UT.

Flott is going to be solid next year.

I have been saying this, Brennan Sr, ricks soph, stingley jr, all our WR and experienced offense... This year and 2021 are the playoff years

Better find a pass rush because any QB just sitting there with no pressure at all will find somebody open

Heard an interesting quote from his dad, how his son prides himself on his technique and his dad said his biggest problem is not using his athletic ability.
Paraphrasing of course.

I think Flott will be a good one. Ward too when he comes along. Haven't seen enough from Ray Jones to make a call.

But with KV you're talking about having a senior back there that will have off/on starting for us in some role since he was a true freshman for the same DC. Having experience is probably the most valuable in the secondary compared to other levels of the defense. Losing Delpit and Fulton after this season will leave us needing experience back there.

Guys do indeed tend to improve from year to year, especially when they know that they don't have anymore eligibility to raise their draft stock.
Another thing is that he'll be nearly 22 vs. having a 17-18 YO out there with Ricks.

Vincent may not be what we all think about when we think of DBU, but as an experienced senior, I have no doubt he will be more than solid for the 2020 Tigers and will get his shot in the league.

Flott although they completed a pass on him was in position to deny the pass, was a perfectly thrown ball to a big physical reciever. Flott impressed me for being a true freshmam

Stingley would be a first rounder in this draft.

I was extremely disappointed in Vincent last week. His total lack of effort on the 4th and 2 reception for a TD
was shameful. He was also beat 2 times for TDs but QB made poor passes. I hope we have some talented FR coming who can replace him.

Let him play a game first man

We thought teams would struggle to pass on us this year and Texas passed for 400
