LSU fans have PTSD because of this shite - we even had this to a degree with Saban.
Problem - Louisiana HS football does not produce QBs or OTs consistently to field dominant offenses. We can do everything else like it's going out of style - WRs, RBs, guards - out the yinyang.
But, rare is the domestically produced All conference player at tackle or QB - and that's where the money is, gentlemen.

The way he seems to have set up the program, he's in line to never have full responsibility for anything, right?
I mean...he's not doing any specific coaching, so he's not responsible for what actually takes place...gonna' do what fans complained about and let his coaches coach. And since we're going to be hiring top notch coordinators, they'll want to move fairly often...so there will ALWAYS be a new system being implemented, since Orgeron has no system of his own. It's Lou Tepper's 5 Year Plan on steroids.
Recruiting? Sure...but how quickly do you think recruiting poorly will be blamed on down years in the state, fans being derisive and making the place toxic, etc?
The only thing he can seemingly be held responsible for is hiring multiple bad coordinators...and that's a muli-year issue.
In short, we're kinda fricked.

I will type slowly but you will have to read slowly to make this work. “O” got fired Saturday night. Due to monetary concerns it may take a year or two to happen but it will happen. He is not a head coach and will never be a head coach even while he is a head coach.

For three weeks O has told you he is not letting Canada run his offense. We have not seen Canada’s offense yet so I don’t really understand your take. Just look at film from previous stops. This is on O and no one else.

Maybe. But I'd be willing to bet on Canada getting 10 OC offers from decent programs before Orgeron gets 1 head coach offer from anyone.

Hell no! His reign depends totally on having elite coordinators in order to cover up his shitty coaching qualifications. If Canada leaves, no OC worth anything will want to touch LSU under Ogre. Its highly probable he uses Canada as a scape goat. Word is starting to circulate that Ogre has been meddling in the offense, hamstringing Canada. That is the real Ogre reacting to pressure. He is imploding right along with HIS team. Look for Canada and Aranda to vacate this ship at first chance. It looks like both have already checked out anyway.
