If Brennan starts next year, will we see a pass first LSU offense?

I'm not crowning Brennan the starter by any means, but if he is, will we be a pass first team? We will have a plethora of talent at the receiver position along with a veteran tight end, no proven running backs, actual offensive tackles who know how to pass block and a talented natural passer. It will be interesting to see.

It depends on the OC but yes. I personally would like to see a west coast offense. Similar to what the saints run.

Brennan will run the wildcat next year on 65% of snaps.

Narcissse will be the starting QB. Brennan is a pipe dream.

I honestly do not care who wins the job as long as we have consistency and accuracy at the QB position

If our running game is ineffective we may turn into 1.

Not necessarily a bad thing, CEH is the perfect all-purpose back.

You base this on what exact?

You know, with all the amazing footage of Narcisse's passing prowess.

Why would you ever want to be a pass first team?

This is just stupid.

I have a feeling he will start as well. I'm not basing this on anything other than him being a threat with his legs. Having a true dual threat QB in college gives an OC a lot more options than a pocket passer. I could be completely wrong but it's just my gut feeling.

I'd like to see a saints type offense with a ton of different types of screens. It really alleviates any kind of pass pressure. Mix this offense in with some misdirection like the sweep and I think it'll fit our personnel nicely.

In my opinon...you dont want to ever be a "Pass First" type of team. Just look at the past national champions. You want to be a "Pass Able" team.

No matter how much the game changes, it seems that the teams that always end up winning are built around a strong running game and a solid defense.

Ehhhh, some solid players - but plethora of talent is a stretch.

I think guys like Dee Anderson, Stephen Sullivan and Drake Davis have all the talent in the world; they just need to be better developed. Then you throw in Giles and likely Terrance Marshall and I'd say talent isn't the issue
