Let’s see if he makes the tough decision to change ST coach.

I also think an elite OC would be a difference maker. Not sure we really saw Denbrock’s offense, so we will just have to trust BK.

I think all coaches get another year regardless.

I really think this is a seminal moment for him. From game 1 to 13, this has been an issue. I believe, for example, Saban fired his DC and promoted Smart after year 1. Kelly talks about standards all the time; no greater time to reinforce that message and doing the difficult thing by relieving Polian or his ST duties. They’re friends and I am sure that will be a tough conversation but as a CEO there are times you have to be ruthless.

Just remember... The issues at Notre Dame were from his old boys network and not firing them...

Cooks, Denbock, and Polian are part of that. Good luck. He's not firing them.

Polian is the worst st coach I've ever seen. Everyone at ND knew it. He does all of Kelly's admin work and runs recruiting keeping the stuff Kelly doesn't do off his desk. He's never leaving lol.

Denbock was in Kelly's wedding. The ad had to make Kelly fire him at ND.

I think I will trust the guy that built 3 programs successfully. He knows what he is doing.our year is year 3. I will start complaining after that.

Kelly is a safer version of Miles without the charisma or the rings.

Denbrock should absolutely get more time

If Polian isn't fired or reassigned then my criticism of special teams will shift from Polian to Kelly.

Ray Charles could see how piss poor our special teams was in every single phase this year. Can't have that moving forward.

Polians not going anywhere he is an asset to the ovreall
program.BK will probably move him to another position.Just
because STs are not his thing he is very valuable as a
recruiter and portal guy.
This just fire the guy is shortsited.People need to look at the big picture. You guys who think BK needs to listen to
yalls BS are idiots.

I don't think anyone cares if he stays on in an administrative position. The issue has always been play and coaching on the field.

Uh huh. Heard that before...

Kelly also said he couldn't recruit at ND... And now ND has the #2 class...

You will hear lots of stuff that makes sense in year one... But will be old by year three

You also realize Brian Kelly is Notre Dames LOSINGEST COACH Too right? Just because you stay a long time doesn't mean your great.

We realize you guys were disappointed with Freeman in year one but we had a year that exceeded all expectations.

Are things perfect? Of course not.

If Kelly wins 10-11 games per year like he did at Notre dame we are good.

I think most reasonable people will take it and be glad for it. Hell, we are on the verge of winning 10 his first year playing in the toughest conference in America.

It’ll be ok. You guys got who you wanted and we are happy with who we have as well.

Good luck in your bowl.

I have always had this opinion, but I am wondering if this is still the standard in the new NIL and portal world we are in

You are horribly wrong. Kelly fired His DC at Notre dame after the first year. His DC had been with him for over 10 years and they were super close. It was a hard decision for him but he did fire him.

Do your homework before bloating out fake knowledge.
