If Aranda was offered 3M by another school, would Woodward match it or say goodbye?

If they watched any of our games this year you have nothing to worry about

I’d say goodbye. He’s a very good defensive coordinator, but as I’ve been saying for years, we could name that tune cheaper.

And to the ‘Who would you hire to take his place?” Crowd, I don’t know - some young coordinator working for Utah or some mid-major. Hell, I couldn’t have named Brady last year.

That’s a lot for a coordinator. I would have to say no.

No lol

What’s wrong with Steele? He’s a great dc since he left. He appears to have learned from his mistakes

Is this for real? Why would anyone pay $3 million for the #48 defense in the country?

I can’t trust him and if your a fan you can’t either...defense has not lived up to our potential this year but I’m not ready to say Aranda has to go we are 10-0 and in contention to win the SEC and Natty...I try and stay level headed when bad shite happens and see how things play out before I make a decision unless I’m 100% sure I’m making the right decision!!

I hear you. I don’t trust Aranda at this point either though.

I get that there are some personnel deficits in some spots, but schematically, he’s been horrible on way too many occasions this year

His defenses the last 3 years have been among the most fundamentally sound in the country

I agree to the extent that we are calling the defense and it’s decencies as we see on tv...we don’t know why the call was and who was out of position because we weren’t in the huddle to hear the call. I agree we have been out of position a lot this year but I can’t 100% confirm that this is a players mistake or a coaches mistake...no one can unless they are one the team

My God, is he the only defensive coordinator on the planet? For $2 million a year, you could save $500K and find somebody good.

You people who act like Aranda is indispensable are out of your minds. If he left, the LSU program, which did quite well for the 120 or so seasons it existed before he got here, would somehow survive. We were in a national title game just five years before any of us knew who the frick he was.
