If Aranda bails next season, let's get Joe Vitt as DC - he checks all of O's boxes

He checks all the boxes.
- Fired from his last job for terrible performance? Check
- Only has a job due to nepotism? Check. (Son in law Adam Gase hires him to sit in a rocking chair at the Dolphins facility)
- Over the age of 60? Check
- Would never be considered at any other SEC program? Check
- Can bring something new to the table cuisine wise? Check - He picked up an amazing sweet KC bbq recipe from his time as LBs coach for the Chiefs 15 years ago.
This dude is a SLAM DUNK hire. Lock in that buy out though!

first let me say, i support O and im not sky screaming over the SE hire, but i am super pissed and very disappointed in the the ST hire.
the scariest thing about this thread is that i cant laugh because i am not very confident that this could not happen

The O supporters are desperately reaching for anything to justify moves made by their hero. Hell space cowboy said that every LSU fan outside of the rant not only loves O but "worships" him. I literally spit monster drink out on my phone while laughing when I read that.

AT BEST, anyone with a thought in their head can see that orgeron did not even attempt to hire the best possible staff. he did no interviews, there was no search, he simply hired some guys he knew.
is Ems a top 5 candidate to run the pass spread, like O wants?
of course not, no one on earth would hire him for that.

no, its actually pretty terrible.
is it smart to hire a 74-year-old WR coach who will very obviously be a detriment in recruiting, when you already have a WR coach who is a detriment in recruiting? did we need 2 of those, was 1 not enough?
suffice to say that idea is very clearly stupid, and it gets even dumber when you remember that the state is loaded next year and we're about to get raided (saban did not hire a DC from Hammond by coincidence), and EVEN DUMBER STILL when you realize that he has two WRC's and no QB coach.
all of this was very easily avoidable.
with the right hires we would have been a legit threat as a playoff team.
instead we'll end up 4th or 5th in the SECW.
that will make our bad recruiting even worse.
the fact that orgeron clearly doesn't understand any of this is the saddest part.

This is demonstrably false. Not sure why you keep posting it.
Ensminger is the OC/QB coach.
Now, you may not like who the QB coach is. But that is another topic altogether, but your current post is factually incorrect.
