bringing in a pre-snap motions to nowhere offense... calling a slow developing trap play on his own goal line against Syracuse resulting in a safety.... multiple times calling three straight passes which were incomplete resulting in the defense getting little or no rest.....jet sweeps to slow RB on 3rd and inches... running dive plays with no blocking FB...being eye candy to Saban... finally, not being worth 1.5 mil a year.

I will always remember Orgeron as a DL coach thinking he's an offensive guru.

Two OTs in motion, at the same time.

A closed scrimmage a couple weeks before the Spring Game that I attended.
He had as much or more fire than even Orgeron. I mean hyper-excited on the sideline and on the field.
The offense started on their own 30 and on the first 2 drives had no motion I-form Miles-esque 3 and outs. Next time 1st O w Etling got the ball on own 30, we needed a traffic cop for the motion in the backfield and Etling hit Chark for a 70 yd bomb
The offense kept up the motion and hurry up and scored 4 out of the next 5 possessions. The defense was on skates, and Canada was pumped. After the scrimmage was over, I met one of my old HS teammates that is one of our defensive coaches on the field. I asked what he thought about the new offense, expecting him to be a bit upset about the D.
He grinned ear to ear and said that offense was nothing nice. It's worth noting that Orgeron seemed more involved with the offense than the defense that day. Also, it was apparent to me that day that Etling had no competition for the starting job from the other QBs.
