Who else has to eat their hat after doubting Coach O when he was hired? I've never been more happy to be wrong in my life!

Although, I never went on record for not liking the hire, I will admit, as most should, to feeling LSU and Joe Alleva settled.

There are different type coaches(managers) - in football
the offensive guy
the defensive guy
the recruiting guy
0 fits the last - he has found - hired the guys to cover him in the O & D side

I agree with and relate to your post 100%, but we still need to finish this season right. And by the way SUSTAIN this performance long term. I am THRILLED that O has exceeded the meager expectations I had when he was hired.

Dude, I AM THRILLED for him, and more importantly LSU. If we bomb out and miss the playoffs this year (EXTREMELY UNLIKELY), it will be mission unaccomplished. That's all I meant by my post. And he has to maintain elite performance at LSU. This plate of crow I am having is DELICIOUS!!!!
