I was in Dallas: Tigers were solid and fans were great!

I noticed the Miami fans, whether from Fla or NOT, acted universally confident, some rude and cocky.

We ignored the ignorance.

In the AT&T Stadium, the UM fans in direct proximity were friendly and polite. I think they felt sorry for LSU and I never gave them any idea that we just might open up cans of "whup-a$$" on their Donald Duck azzes. We did and I never showed inordinate exuberance, and those in our direct proximity could not get over our speed and efficiency. I just looked unsurprised. Our group was gracious and merely high-fived.

The stadium was simply breath-taking, I had been there 5 times, but Sunday was non-pareil. It seemed very special.

I really winced at our key injuries and yet our guys just took the "next guy up" approach. O appeared unflapped.

It's a long season and I harbor no illusions. I do believe that UM is poorly managed and probably not nearly as good as ranked, and the opposite "may" be true for LSU.

I loved our aggressiveness and performance. I did not like our conservative spells. But JB is young to LSU and he had a real presence. I am optimistic however.

As for the guys who gave us BBQ Restaurants to consider, we did as follows:

A) First stop from Lafayette to Dallas was in Wascom TX, Jim's. It was really good/clean/fresh...delicious. We had the ribs/brisket/fried fish plate, we selected our variety and realized they were known for the fish too...with cole slaw/potato salad/texas toast;

B) Pecan Lodge in Bohemian District of Dallas....Had the brisket/ribs (they were out of beef ribs); plus the sweet potato with brisket piece de resistence.......very good but I think they had a little too much salt in the brisket, still rate it high....it was crowded and people from LSU/Miami/General Population were mixing and enjoying. Met people from Grapevine...BTW we used Uber drivers and had no parking and scheduling problems, Uber App is the BOMB;

C) After the game the restaurants were mostly closed so we had to settle for burritos from Arbuelo's, not bad; Steak Burritos with fresh lettuce and other vegetables and Potato Burritos (sorta like chunked has browns with cheese);

D) Monday we stopped in Tyler and had planned Stanley's but did not want more BBQ and opted for Jumbo Seafood Restaurant on the highway to Tyler, it was phenomenal. The fried Shrimp and Fried Catfish with a stuffed baked potato, absolutely the BEST.

I thank all who provided the suggestions and hope you consider these places, they are worth the stop and you will not be disappointed. Merci Beaucoup!!

Geaux Tigers

Yep, same.

Haven't seen a fan base that confident before the game in a long time.

They thought Rosier was good

I was next to, two annoying Miami assholes. They pretty much shut up after Brosettes TD.

I was pretty drunk, loud, and obnoxious the whole game. I'm sorry for anyone that was around me. I'm not a great representative for the Tigers fanbase. I'll try harder next time.

I was sitting near numerous cane fans...they were all well-behaved, knowledgeable and disgusted with their team...reminded me of LSU fans bitching about the QB, play calling and coaching in general. It was glorious.

Rosier had his early serendipitous completions, two of the passes were "thrown behind the receivers". He really lost his mojo when he realized that LSU's D was tee'ing off on every play and our O was wearing out their D.

I did not like the giving up of 2 late TD's but I hope the substitutions may have contributed. We had many first time players versus their "alleged experience cadre." Our guys never seemed to flinch and knocked them on their azzes.

Low Energy Richt was looking like he needed a nap. He seemed flapped and exhausted. Captain Oeux was chuffing like a Tiger on the Prowl. He even cussed at somebody on his staff or an official, I could not make out who he was talking to. He looked carmudgeonly at times and he was suffering no "F-Up's" gladly. I liked that Oeux. Dimmit! Do you job and be accountable.

60 seconds before kickoff a row of Miami fans came to the row immediately in front of my wife and me. They refused to sit, and were extremely cocky. Every other word was F—, and the only thing they seemed interested in doing was showing the bird to Tiger fans. My wife and I moved to some other seats that were vacant in the next section, and ended up near some great Tiger fans and really enjoyed the game. I have a feeling the jerks eventually sat and shut up once their team got hit between the eyes, but we didn’t want those creeps ruining our experience.

Good move, to get away from their vulgar display.

Tigers gave them the bird, as it were.

As Arnsparger used to say, "All you have to do it point to the scoreboard."

But I have to say, none of their fans were rude to us. Plus we were sitting next to a young couple from Shreveport.

Cannot say I cared about the Miami Fan reactions. I just ignored them. I know they were hurting.

That can be said for a lot of the Miami fanbase.

I got pretty fired up in section 328 and fell forward about three rows on the people in front of me. They saw their lives flashing in front of them as my 6’4” 355 lb body came crashing down.

No one in my group can remember why I was so fired up. Needless to say, it was beer and water from then on.

Buddy bought a round of three triple Tito’s and sprite... $117.00!

Great time!

Rosier was the main reason why i thought LSU would win. He would crumble sooner or later to LSU's Defense. Predicted a Greedy Pick 6...but gladly take Phillips.
