The reaction to Chase leaving says otherwise.

Actually some are saying that Chase wasn't that good now and that he is completely a product of Burrow.

It's stage 3 in the 5 stages of football grief.

Losing one of the best WR's in the Country after he publicly stated he wanted to play sucks.

Nothing to do with other guys on the Roster.

The room is the deepest in the team. But we just lost a unanimous first team all American. That has to hurt

This is a special kind of stupid take. How is people being upset about losing the best receiver in the country a knock on our receiver room? Some of those guys are young and could have used a year to really learn the offense and learn from somebody like chase. It's not just about losing him on the field but off the field also.

It's totally fine to be upset that we won't see Chase in an LSU uniform anymore. He is one the best receivers this program has ever produced. But for the fans to then project those insecurities onto Chase's character is so fricking pathetic.

Can we keep him at practice and on the sidelines to teach the newbees some of his secrete sauce?

The receiver room is indeed deep. However Chase is really good, and had a lot of big game experience, thus the disappointment of him not playing this year. Get it now?

Try to keep up, I’m at work and I’m not gonna have time to break everything down for you like this

You’re right, we should be celebrating Chase leaving.

Pretty good hit but there is enormous potential there. Yes JB made the group look great but they made the best of that.
I believe that Racy will be a beast in this offense. Time to step up as a group. This move by JC will do just that.

Nope - he’ll go home to party with his homies and catch the Rona.

That’s fan reaction, it has nothing to do with actual ability. Whoever doesn’t wanna play or be at LSU anymore has a right to leave so who gives a shite if Chase is gone? frick em, if they don’t give a shite about LSU I dunno how anyone can have an emotional connection to that kindve player anyway.

The room is incredibly unproven. It may turn out to be really good, but it may turn out that guys like Palmer aren’t ready. Imagine if Marshall gets hurt again.

This is your team
I'm reminded of the Hoosiers movie.

Next man up boys!

While I agree with your statement I think of it as racey just worked his way into a top 2 round draft pick. Now we have room to split Gilbert out wide while also having our other 6’7 tight end in the game. Trey Palmer is the fastest man on the team. Boutte can absolutely play and is ready to compete in the sec today. Losing chase sucks because he could’ve etched his name into LSU history, but we aren’t about to lose any production. Ed has done a great job of that. This team is extremely deep and talented everywhere except for d end. Hate to break it to our nega tigers here on the rant but even today, we are still the best team in the sec and everyone else is a distant second.

Any player can leave anytime they want...I just find it intersting. He's leaving so he doesn't get injured before he can get paid in the NFL. Ok, fine.

But, his NFL rookie salary is set as is the first four years. How is he going to negotiate not getting hurt the year before his rookie contract is up so he can get paid?

Well that’s gonna be up to his agent and team to figure out. Not really sure this decision will carry weight judging by how a lot of these teams do business now days.
