I keep hearing about how great the talent is at LSU and how Les Miles is wasting it.

Good talent, even if poorly coached, would have beaten Auburn.

CLM obviously has some issues, but I think a lot of fans are overrating the team's talent. Fournette is obviously a beast, but the rest of the offense has not exactly been setting it on fire.

so then miles is a poor talent evaluator? Either way the loss is his responsibility.

We're going to have more players drafted this year than any other college football program.

This team is loaded - that's an undeniable fact.

Most players in the NFL. Multiple 5 star players in every position group. If fans are over rating LSU talent then everyone else in the country is too.

This thread is bad.

Doesn't lsu have more players in NFL than any other school, including Alabama?

Perennial top recruiting classes as well.

LSU is loaded with talent.

Damn all those 4 and 5* recruits. Apparently every recruiting service has been overrating them. We have such bad luck

Is the NFL overating it too?

I guess the NFL is also "overrating" our talent. Those naive Pollyannas.

So the fans come up with the talent evaluations? I'm sure it has nothing to do with the recruiting services and NFL rosters?

And...The NFL keeps hearing about the talent and keeps drafting it.

I suggest a bit more Google, and a lot more thought before declaring LSU bereft of talent.

LSU has two times as many players that will play on Sundays than does Auburn and many times more than Wisconsin. The next few NFL drafts will prove you wrong.

The problem is the offensive line. I do not see elite talent there. And that is the problem with the offense. They neither run block nor pass block very well. However, they are pretty good at drawing penalties for holding or false starts.

Talent everywhere but OL where we are getting dominated, resulting in the piss-poor offensive performances

Numbers don't lie. We have more players in the NFL than any other team. Recruiting isn't a problem for Miles.

It's coaching.

In the NFL, it is pretty well established that you cannot win without a talented offensive line. LSU does not have one.

1. We have the most players in the NFL

2. We have the 2nd highest recruiting ranking average in the last 3 years.

That's not overrating at all.
