For once LSU is on the right side of an obvious bias...I was expecting them to be ranked in the 10-15 range.

Wont it be ironical if by some quirk of fate, LSU gets to the playoffs and Bama gets left out!!!

Please explain how you think this could possibly happen without a plane crash

We won the SEC that season.

There is an astronomically small chance that we sneak in, but there is ZERO chance we get in and Bama doesn’t

They are just showing respect to our schedule. It is literately the hardest schedule in college football so far. However, that will soon change after our bad opponents coming up. That will soon not be as big of a factor. We will not end up in the playoff.

If they lost to State, Auburn, and then UGA, then they'd get left out. I don't think they'll lose any of those games, but that is one scenario where LSU would get in (provided they win out and other people lose) and Bama wouldn't.

I agree . We still are the 4th best team in the Nation IMO . Even with 2 lossless we are #4
Michigan will lose another game and ND has been lucky winning several games by the
skin of their teeth. We have a darned good chance getting back in . That will bring in some great recruits . Of course Bama would in fact hand our buts to us again in the playoffs when we win out the rest of our schedule. Still we will gain a lot of extra attention We can get a Newyears Bowl game and that’s where the money is . With some excellent recruiting on the Offensive Line, look out.

That ends up hurting our resume. Georgia gets in as the only SEC team in that scenario.

The 29-0 drumming looks better for the resume when the team is a juggernaut vs a 3 loss team.

The BCS proxy rankings were just released using AP instead of Harris... guess what? We’re still #7.

You guys want to hate this team and yes they lost worse than should be acceptable, but we’re #7 and in prime position to go 10-2 and make a NY6 bowl with our only bad loss being to a top 2 ever Bama team under saban.

I’m not happy with the losses, but it’s year 2 for orgeron and he’s already in a decent position to put up our best record in what, 6 years?, in a year where we were predicted to go 7-5 by Vegas

The previous game would indicate we are not going to the playoffs.

They are 7-2 against the #1 ranked strength of schedule in the country according to Sagarin's ratings. #11 is the lowest they could possibly be and that's if Washington State, West Virginia, Ohio State, and Central Florida were all ahead of them simply because of record but they all have atrocious strength of schedules. There's no bias here. This is simply well informed people making correct decisions.

Michigan loses to OSU
Georgia loses to bama
Oklahoma loses to WVU

We then need OSU to lose 1 more game along with WVU since they both would have 1 lose and beaten highly ranked teams.

WSU and UCF would be wild cards

This board is made up of some of the most impractical and overzealous fans I’ve ever seen.

LOL. What if LSU snuck in with a 3 seed. Bama got beat by the 4 seed. LSU won natty and avoided playing Bama. B/c that's the only way that LSU would win a natty...avoiding bama like the plague.

Difference between you and Bama fans-- Bama fans-- no matter the loss-their team belongs in CFP! Their team is #1. You (alleged LSU fan) -- "I still can't believe the #7 ranking. Obvious bias." You suck as an LSU fan.
